Our Mission

Our Mission is to guide refugees and immigrants towards self-determination and social equality, by providing and connecting them to available programs and services that will improve their healthcare, education as well as increase their economic and social well-being.

Our Vision

Not only do we want for a better and successful lives for immigrants and refugees, we want their cultures and believes to be pass on to their children, that is why we vision a community center where African immigrants can feel at home while exercising their civic rights and responsibilities.

Our Focus

Our Focus: African Immigrants and Refugees Why? Because the community we serve is mostly Africans and we understand African-cultures and believes. We serve the immigrant communities of Brooklyn Park, Brooklyn Center and the entire north western part of Hennepin County.

What We Do

Through our 3 main programs we help immigrants and refugees move from point A to point B, by opening doors of opportunities that will lead them to living the American dream.

How Do We Work

By partnering with other organizations in the community that have a long, proven history of helping refugees (like CAPI, Planned Parenthood, City of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota Workforce Center, WAFCS and GFF) we work smarter and faster and with great humility in everything we do. Guided by our values, we offer all our services in a culturally appropriate way. (Our Values)
